Wahoo Fishing in Miami

Acanthocybium solandri

Wahoo are built for speed: long, striped and fast enough to make a reel scream. Off Miami they cruise the edge of the Gulf Stream and the deeper reefs. They are less common than mahi or kingfish, so a wahoo is a prize catch and one of the best fish to eat.
